Ultrasonic welding is a high technology for welding thermoplastic
products. All kinds of thermoplastic parts can be processed by it
and also without the need of any solvent, adhesive or any solvent,
adhesive or any other auxiliary. Its advantage is to raise
productivity, reduce cost, improve product quality and safe
production.
The theory of ultrasonic plastic welding is that when a 20kHz(or
15kHz)high pressure,high-amplitude signals are generated by the
generator, through a tansduser the signal is converted to high
frequency mechanical vibration,then pressure it on the plastic
workpiece,where tempreture raises on the workpiece's surface and
inner of friction between the molecules.When tempreture reaches the
melting point of the workpiece itself,the workpiece interface
rapidly melting,and then fill in the space between the
interface.When vibration stops,workpiece cooling under certain
pressured and setting at the same time,where a perfect welding
effect is achieved.
